This bid underscores Musk's ongoing concerns about the direction of artificial intelligence development and his desire to influence its trajectory. **BYD Challenges Tesla with Autonomous Driving Tech** Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD has announced "The God's Eye," a new autonomous driving technology set to be included across a wide range of its models, including more affordable options. This move intensifies competition in the EV market, particularly against rivals like Tesla, by making advanced driving features more accessible. **UK's Copyright Consultation Sparks Controversy** A UK government consultation on amending copyright law is facing criticism for allegedly favoring AI companies. Critics argue that the proposed changes could lead to a significant transfer of wealth from the creative sectors to the tech industry, potentially undermining economic growth. **DeepSeek's Talent Acquisition Raises Eyebrows** Chinese AI company DeepSeek has been hiring former employees from Microsoft's Research Asia lab, a move that has drawn political scrutiny. Concerns have been raised about potential technology transfer and the implications for U.S. national security. **Big Tech's Battle for the 'Box'** Major tech companies are vying for dominance over the "Box," the interface where users input searches and commands. Historically dominated by Google, this space is now being contested by companies like OpenAI and Meta, each aiming to integrate their AI technologies as primary user interfaces.
